Admission Procedure
 
     
 
For M.B.A Basic Qualification
 
     
  In order to secure admission to first year of the two-year full time MBA course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:  
     
  1. Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate*( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.  
  OR  
  Appeared ** for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate**( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only)  
     
  2. CCandidate should have scored 30 or more marks in MAH-MBA / MMS CET 2011 or equivalent exam.

NOTE: Candidate is advised to ensure before applying for the CET and the admission to the MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM programme in a particular university that she/he is eligible for the admission to the programme as per the relevant Eligibility Rules of the university.
 
     
 
For M.C.A Basic Qualification
 
     
  In order to secure admission to first year of the three-year full time MCA course , the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:  
     
  1. Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate*( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor' degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. And having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10 + 2 level or higher level examination.  
     
  2. Candidate securing zero or negative marks in MAH-MCA ?CET 2011 or equivalent exam will not be considered eligible for admission.

NOTE: ** :** Candidates appeared for the final year degree examination (Graduation) fulfilling the remaining eligibility criteria will be offered provisional admission subject to the condition that they will pass and submit the result of the examination with the required percentage of marks on or before 25th September 2011. In case, such candidate fails to produce the result of the final year examination on or before 25th September 2011, then admission offered to such candidate automatically stands cancelled and fees(tuition, development and other fees) paid by the candidate of the academic year 2011-12 will be forfeited. The candidates who have passed Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), Bachelor of Science (Computer/ information Technology) degree courses are not required to fulfill the requirement of having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10 + 2 level or higher level examination.

Documents to be attached at the time of admission:
 
     
  Candidates reporting for admissions should submit the following documents (originals) along with the full fees.  
 
  1. Certificate of Indian Nationality in the name of the Candidate
  2. Statement of marks of HSC
  3. Statement of marks of SSC
  4. Statement of marks for the Bachelor's Degree Examination (i.e. the Qualifying Degree examination) in case the candidate has passed the bachelor's degree examination (Candidates who have appeared for final year degree examination have time limit up to 25th September, 2011 to produce the same).
  5. Caste Certificate(if applicable)
  6. Caste/Tribe Validity certificate* (if applicable) or Undertaking in Proforma ? H
  7. Non Creamy Layer Certificate* valid up to 31st March 2011 (if applicable)
  8. Domicile certificate** (if applicable), clearly indicating the place of permanent residence of the candidate/ Father or Mother or Husband
  9. Any other relevant document
 
     
  NOTE:  
  #In lieu of the ?Certificate of Indian nationality? following certificates/ documents will also be acceptable-
The School leaving Certificate indicating the Nationality of the candidate as 'Indian?.
Indian Passport in the name of candidate, issued by appropriate authorities.
Birth Certificate of the Candidate indicating the place of birth in India.
The reserved category candidates to pay the fees as prescribed in the DTE brochure.
 
     
 
RULES OF DISCIPLINE
 
 
  1. The falling short of minimum 75% attendance may have to lose the term and highly irregular student could be expelled from the Institute.
  2. The Student Manager should carry Identity Card with him regularly and produce the same when demanded.
  3. The Student Manager found guilty of an act of misconduct either in the Institute or outside shall be subjected to strict disciplinary action and may be expelled from the Institute.
  4. The Student Manger should not cause any damages to the Institute's property. The damage caused shall be recovered from the Student Manager immediately.
  5. Use of cell phones/ cameras/ camera phones is prohibited in campus. If found using these electronic gadgets, heavy fine will be charged.
  6. Strict silence should be observed in the library. Loitering in corridors is strictly prohibited.
  7. Chewing pan, pan masala, any tobacco products, drinking alcohol, use of drugs and smoking in premises is strictly prohibited in campus.
  8. The Student Managers should read the notices displayed on the notice board regularly and the Institute will not be responsible for the loss due to negligence of reading notices on the part of the Student Managers.
  9. Ragging within or outside of the Institute is prohibited.
  10. No jobs are allowed during the tenure of these full time courses. Anyone violating this rule will be summarily expelled from the Institute.
  11. The above rules of discipline are always subject to change, modification, addition, omission or alteration as and when deemed fit by the management and the decisions of the management will be final.
 
 
Anti-Ragging Act

An Act to prohibit ragging in educational institutions in the State of Maharashtra WHEREAS it is expedient to enact a special law to prohibit ragging in educational institutions in the State of Maharashtra. It is hereby enacted in the Fiftieth Year of the Republic of India as follows: means display of disorderly conduct, doing of any act which causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or shame or embarrassment to a student in any educational institution and includes

(i)Teasing, abusing, threatening or playing practical jokes on, or causing hurt to, such student; or

(ii)Asking a student to do any act or perform something which such student will not, in the ordinary course, willingly do. Ragging within or outside of any educational institution is prohibited. Whoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside any educational institution shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall also be liable to a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.

Any student convicted of an offence under the Act shall be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal.

 
     
  1. Whenever any student or, as the case may be, the parent or guardian, or a teacher of an educational institution complains, in writing, of ragging to the head of the educational institution, the head of that educational institution shall, without prejudice to the foregoing provisions, within seven days of the receipt of the complaint, enquire into the matter mentioned in the complaint and if prima facie it is found true, suspend the student who is accused of the offence, and shall, immediately forward the complaint to the police station having jurisdiction over the area in which the educational institution is situated, for further action.  
     
  2. . Where, on enquiry by the head of the educational institution, it is proved that there is no substance, prima facie, in the complaint received under sub-section (1), he shall intimate the fact, in writing, to the complainant.  
     
  3. . The decision of the head of the educational institution that the student has indulged in ragging under sub-section (1), shall be final.
